Happy customers

Honestly, you work with real professionalism, dealing with you is very comfortable, and your team is great and helpful — it shows they were chosen with care.
I have recommended you to more than one person. Many thanks to the team and the management. The supplements are fairly priced, and I have benefited a lot from them and from the offers you run. I recommend everyone to deal with them.

"Mashallah. Thank you for your honesty, the quality of your products and your courteous service — and for the regular gifts. I really benefit from the advice you give me whenever I buy from you. To me you are like a private clinic: you have something others don't — a consultation first, then the purchase. Honestly, many things have improved for me since I started dealing with you."

N-Acetyl Carnosine Eye Drops in a 10 ml bottle is a sterile ophthalmic solution built around N-Acetyl-Carnosine, a derivative of the dipeptide carnosine developed specifically to cross the tissues of the eye rather than to be taken internally.

These drops are a topical product applied directly into the eye and are unrelated to swallowed supplements, because orally taken antioxidants reach the lens with difficulty: the lens is a tissue with no blood vessels of its own. That limitation is exactly why carnosine was reformulated into a form applied to the surface.

What is N-Acetyl-Carnosine?

N-Acetyl-Carnosine is the acetylated form of carnosine, a natural dipeptide built from beta-alanine and histidine and found in muscle, brain and the lens of the eye. Free carnosine is water-loving and does not readily cross the lipid layers of the cornea, whereas adding an acetyl group raises its lipid affinity so it passes through the cornea, after which the group is removed in the aqueous humour and carnosine is released on site. In that sense N-Acetyl-Carnosine works as a prodrug, carrying the molecule across a barrier it could not cross alone.

What the drops do for the eye

  • Antioxidant support inside the eye: carnosine is associated with neutralising free radicals in the aqueous humour surrounding the lens.
  • Resisting lipid oxidation: studies point to carnosine's association with limiting lipid peroxidation in cell membranes.
  • Limiting sugar-protein binding: carnosine is linked to reducing the glycation reaction that alters tissue protein structure over time.
  • Surface comfort: the aqueous solution provides a soothing feel for anyone with dryness from long screen focus.
  • Support for visual clarity: keeping lens proteins transparent is tied to the level of antioxidant protection available around them.

How it works inside the eye

The lens faces a structural problem of its own: its proteins, the crystallins, are made early in life and never replaced, so oxidation and glycation accumulate on them over years, their orderly arrangement gradually breaks down and transparency falls. Carnosine is known for binding reactive carbonyl groups and transition metal ions that drive oxidation reactions, limiting their reach to protein. The catch is that carnosine itself does not cross the cornea efficiently, and this is where the acetyl group matters: it raises lipid solubility so the molecule passes the corneal layers, then esterase enzymes cleave it in the aqueous humour, releasing carnosine precisely where it is meant to act.

What sets these drops apart

What distinguishes N-Acetyl Carnosine drops is the delivery route, not the compound alone. Swallowed carnosine is rapidly broken down by carnosinase in the blood, and even if it survived, reaching a lens without blood vessels stays limited. Topical application bypasses both barriers and places the compound on the short path to the aqueous humour. The 10 ml dropper bottle allows consistent use over an extended period, and the solution is sterile and aqueous, applied straight into the eye.

Who are these drops for?

  • People spending long hours at screens who feel visual strain and dryness by the end of the day.
  • People over forty who want support for visual clarity within eye-care follow-up.
  • People seeking topical antioxidant support rather than relying on swallowed supplements alone.
  • People exposed to bright light or dry, air-conditioned environments for most of the day.

How to use

Use as directed by an eye doctor. Wash hands first, tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place the drop in the conjunctival pocket without letting the dropper tip touch the eye, the lid or any other surface, then close the lid for a few seconds. Close the bottle tightly after each use and keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between carnosine and N-Acetyl-Carnosine?

Carnosine is a water-loving dipeptide that does not efficiently cross the lipid layers of the cornea. N-Acetyl-Carnosine carries an acetyl group that raises its lipid solubility so it can cross, and the group is then removed inside the eye, releasing carnosine itself.

Do these drops replace oral eye supplements?

No. The drops act topically within the eye, while swallowed supplements travel through the bloodstream and reach the retina more readily than the lens. These are two different routes, and deciding which is needed belongs to an eye doctor.

Can the drops be used with contact lenses?

Removing contact lenses before instilling the drop and waiting a few minutes before replacing them is preferable, since preservatives in ophthalmic solutions can deposit on soft lenses. An eye doctor is the reference on this point.

Cautions

  • Use under the direction of an eye doctor; not a substitute for examination or prescribed treatment.
  • Stop use immediately and consult a doctor if redness, stinging or any change in vision occurs.
  • Do not let the dropper tip touch the eye or fingers, to keep the solution sterile.
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight; do not freeze.
