MSM, methylsulfonylmethane, is an organic sulphur compound and one of the more abundant minerals in the human body. It can be had from plant foods — Brussels sprouts, asparagus, legumes, cabbage — though how much is in any of them depends heavily on the sulphur in the soil it grew in. MSM plays a part in collagen production, and is often paired with glucosamine and chondroitin in joint formulas.
