About the two forms

Vitamin K2 comes as MK-4 or MK-7. MK-7 stays in circulation considerably longer, so once a day is enough, while MK-4 clears faster and is usually split across several servings. Vitamin D is difficult to get from food alone; sunlight is the main route, and skin production falls with age, distance from the equator, pollution, clothing cover and sunscreen.
