Lugol's Solution of Iodine 2% 100 ml
Lugol's iodine solution at 2% strength, in a 100 ml bottle. Lugol's is a long-standing preparation of elemental iodine with potassium iodide in water, first compounded in the 1820s, and it stays on the shelf of people who keep a traditional home store rather than a modern capsule cabinet.

How to take it
Add the drops to a glass of water and increase gradually. Start with one drop on the first day and add one drop per day, staying at the level you settle on rather than going past it. It is usually taken in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not use continuously for more than three months; after three months take a two-week break before returning to it.
